For all those anxious to rewatch their favourite episodes of ITV’s Lewis, there’s good news - it’s on tonight on ITV3.
The very first episode of the show's final season will see our favourite stars back in action, including Celia Imrie, James Fleet and Kevin Whately.
True fans of Inspector Morse franchise will know of a few major connections between actors, including the original Inspector Morse, John Thaw, who’s daughter Abigail Thaw starred in the much-loved prequel Endeavour.

But if you thought that was insider knowledge, here’s another one for you.
Kevin Whately played the iconic character of Inspector Robbie Lewis for almost 30 years on both Inspector Morse and Inspector Lewis.
Kevin’s wife, Madelaine Newton, has an extensive acting career of her own, starring in Grange Hill, Look and Read, and even Coronation Street.
But in 1990, six years after marrying the actor, she too made an appearance on the detective show - as Morse’s on-screen love interest Beryl Newsome.
In an interview with The Times in 2019, Kevin opened up about the show and their family life.
He said of his marriage: “This might sound a bit old-fashioned, but I’ve always felt that having children was all about being with the right person.
“Someone you could share the rest of your life with. That didn’t happen till I was 30, when I met Madelaine.

“We were actually born three weeks apart in the same town, Hexham in Northumberland, but we didn’t know each other as kids.
“That shared history helped us 'click'. As soon as we met, that was it. Let’s get married and have kids.”
His daughter Kitty added: “Dad didn’t make a big thing about being on television.
“He loved his job and was very grateful for what the character of Lewis gave him, but I always felt he was at his happiest when he was dragging us all through the woods on another weekend hike, waxing lyrical about some tree he’d seen.”
In 2016, Kevin left the show for good, much to the sadness of Inspector Morse fans.
Lewis will show on ITV3 at 8pm tonight.
