John Amos recently shared some adorable photos of himself with his kids, and the actor is undoubtedly proud of his children who share a resemblance with him.
The Father's Day celebration took place on Sunday, and while some children appreciated their fathers, some fathers also took time out to appreciate themselves.
Taking to Instagram, actor John Amos wished himself a happy Father's Day by sharing photos from his bonding moments with his children, K.C Amos, and Shannon Amos.

In the first photo, John was pictured alongside Shannon as they both knelt on one knee in an open field. With both of their right hands locked in a tight grip, the father-daughter duo held up their left hands in a raised fist.
While Shannon sported a white top with jeans, John opted for a grey sweatshirt with jeans and a black baseball cap. Captioning the photo, John wrote:
"I enjoyed spending time with my daughter last week! Happy Father's Day to you all!- J.A."
With K.C's hand against John's shoulder, the father-son duo keenly stared at the camera as they posed for the portrait.
He once revealed that his ancestors had spoken to him while on the set of the show.
Shortly after sharing the posts, fans and followers took to the comment sections where they left lovely messages for John.
One user wrote, "Happy father's day to you!!! The best tv father, I know!! While another sweetly added:
" Happy Father's Day to one of All our Father Figures... you sir!!! @theofficialjohnamos"
John is most famous for his role on the classic CBS television series, " The Good Time," where he acted as "James Evans Snr."
John's role on the show earned him the title of being addressed as one of America's best television dads, and he has continued to live up to it over the years.
Back in 2017, John debuted a children's book "A World Without Color," and following the release, he made time to read and explain the book to students of the Montclair Child Development Center, Orange.
The book tells a story of acts of kindness, and last year, John also collaborated with a class teacher in an attempt to make students understand the importance of being kind.
"Good Times" ran for six seasons between 1974 and 1980, and although it has been four decades since the show came to an end, it remains mostly respected and loved.
Last December, John and some members of the original cast of the series appeared during the ABC's "Live in Front of a Studio Audience," and surprisingly, John made an appearance as a Chicago politician, Fred Davis.
In addition to his role on "Good Time," John is also known for his remarkable performance on the mini television series, " Roots."
His outstanding acting earned John an Emmy nomination, and interestingly, he once revealed that his ancestors had spoken to him while on the set of the show.
