Odell was born on 5th November 1992 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Odell Beckham Sr and Heather Van Norman. Odell began his career at Louisiana State University (LSU) where he played for three seasons. He was a first-team All-SEC selection in his final season and was considered one of the top wide receiver prospects in the country. Odell declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season and was selected 12th overall by the New York Giants.
In his first season with New York Giants, he established himself as one of the top receivers in the league. He set a rookie record for most receptions in a season (91) and became the first rookie in NFL history to have at least 90 receptions and 1,300 receiving yards in a season. Odell also set another record in NFL history, a one-handed grab while falling backwards against the Dallas Cowboys.
Beckham continued to be a star player for the Giants, earning Pro Bowl honours in his first three seasons. He also set a franchise record for most receptions in a season (101) in 2016, and became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 200 receptions, doing so in just 30 games.
In 2019, Beckham Jr. was traded to Cleveland Browns, where he had a great season.
