Sahher enrolled in Jai Hind College in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in 2016. She studied tourism and travel for 8 months before dropping out since her acting career took off.
Sahher began dancing at a very young age and was the type of person to dance in front of the guests in the living room. She later became a trained dancer.
Sonakshi Sinha presented her the Oppo Bombay Times Fresh Face Award that she won in 2016.
She signed her role in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019) within 8 months of moving from her hometown of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, to Mumbai, Maharashtra. Sahher always wanted to pursue acting after school and realized that Shimla did not offer enough opportunities.
Her parents initially suggested that she move to New Delhi instead of Mumbai as she had some relatives there.
She competed in and won one beauty pageant in Mumbai as a model. Immediately after that, Kavish Sinha, a casting director for Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019) asked her to audition.
Sahher never studied acting prior to auditioning. She found herself very comfortable in front of the camera right away. She also listened to the advice of the movie director, Sunny Deol, who was also the father of the lead actor in the movie, Karan Deol.
Sahher considers Sunny Deol as her mentor, role model, and “like a second father.”
Sahher was on a wedding dinner with her parents when the call that she landed the role came in.
She nearly gave up on becoming an actress after the 1st day of filming, since it consisted of an 8-hour trek in sub-zero temperature. Her mom on the phone comforted her and assured her it would get easier with practice.
