While at the Kobe Bryant memorial, his widow Vanessa Bryant talked about her husband as family, friends and other A-listers were in attendance, shedding tears for the loss of a legend. The memorial took place at the Staples Center earlier today and during her heartbreaking eulogy, Vanessa also revealed that she and Kobe were planning on renewing their vows.
The basketball star apparently really wanted that since they had been together for a really long time and still loved each other like in the beginning.
‘Kobe wanted us to renew our vows,’ she told the attendees as she was trying to hold back tears.
And that was not all! The mother of four daughters revealed that Kobe also had big plans for them as a family as well.

He was already planning to have their firstborn ‘Natalia [to] take over our company and for us to travel the world.’
Making it very clear that he was a true ‘#GirlDad’ through and through, Vanessa shared that ‘He never left the toilet seat up. He taught the girls how to be brave,’ and added that he would always remind the girls that they are beautiful and smart.
Finally, she talked about their amazing love story and that really touched the people in attendance, who were shedding tears just listening to it.
As fans know, Vanessa and Kobe met each other when she was only 17 years old.
‘I was his first love, his wife, his best friend, his confidant and his protector. He was the most amazing husband.’
She described them as a couple using the words ‘fire and ice,’ stressing that it was ’vice versa’ too sometimes.
The widow then heartbreakingly revealed that he once gifted her a blue dress and the notebook from the movie ‘The Notebook.’
